Who is Involved |
We owe a debt of gratitude to the folks in these 5 photographs below. They made this event possible. First we’d like to thank Christian Simmons & Broken Arrow and Merchants of Moonshine for coming up with the idea, donating their time and talent to make this happen. Without them, there would not have been a concert. They’re awesome!!! Annie Nelson and Marvin Winters for bringing everybody together. Special thanks to Annie for bringing all the guys from the Best Dam Sport Show Period. John Salley, Rodney Peete and Rob Dibble, great, down to earth, fantastic guys. And our deepest thanks and gratitude to Rob Dibble and Diamond Dallas Page - Diamond Dallas Page for M-Cing the event. They made the evening; not only because of their star power, but for the love and support they have shown our men and women in uniform ... Their time is truly precious and they’re precious to us. And finally those Marines that came to spend the evening with us ... to remind us what it’s really all about. Our Fallen and Wounded Warriors, and those they leave behind. Guys on behalf of those we serve, thanks for making our first Christmas event so special ... |

Why We are Involved |
For all of you that helped make this Christmas special at 9/11HelpAmerica Foundation. Thank you ... |
These are some of the feed back we received from those we serve. We would like to do a long dissertation of why we do what we do. And why it is that we work so hard to hustle up a dollar. Just read a little and you’ll see there is no need to explain. Each of these women, wounded, sons or daughters has made an incalculable sacrifice for this Country ... It is our privilege to bring a smile and a little Christmas cheer to them, if we can ... |

Hi I just wanted to drop a huge THANK YOU GUYS for ALL those gifts. They arrived yesterday and I wish I had a camera available when the kids saw me take out all those presents. My youngest sat next to the Christmas tree for hours just starring at all the presents. He doesn't really understand what happens at Christmas yet. My older son had a friend over and I thought his eyes were going to pop out as well. |
Thank you soooo much and we hope you all have a wonderful holiday. |

You guys are da' best!! Please pass this on to all involved - you are all making a wonderful difference in our lives (at least in mine) and for that I am very grateful. I am usually the (very) bah-humbug not-liking-the-holiday-season person, but you have brought a much needed smile to my grumpy old face, and for that I thank you :) |
I hope everyone has safe and wonderful holidays - please know you are all much loved and appreciated, even if I don't know everyone personally :) Thanks again for all that you do, who you are, and how generous your spirit is! |

Dear all, |
Things have been crazy & depressing for me lately. Just before December began I had surgery and moved to a new house all within 1 week. I am just now back online - a month later. |
Because of the SGLI increase and your monthly checks I have been able to get into my first house! Thanks to your monthly help it is helping to help pay for the increased cost of living off base. I really need to and want to thank you guys for helping Brie & I for so long, which allowed me to make one more tiny step forward. Moving into my very own, first, house was not the thrilling event I had hoped for. Leaving base housing (where Aaron & I lived) was extremely rough emotionally. Knowing that I was and am leaving part of my past and daily memories behind is depressing. I spent the first week in our new home crying. I realize I cannot live on base forever and that I had to make this step. Having said that, I also did not want to move off base; it was a massive comfort zone. |

We are so blessed and grateful for having you in our lives. Words alone cannot express just how much this means to us. Life without Fred will never be the same but with wonderful people like yourselves caring for us, it makes it better. I know he would thank you himself. He loved being a soldier and defending America’s freedoms. I know he died doing what he truly believed in. That alone makes me except his passing. He sacrificed himself for all Americans. He was an amazing husband, son, brother and friend. I know he would’ve been a wonderful father to our son. I will never let our son forget who his father was and who you guys are for making our lives better. Thank you, thank you, and thank you!!!!! May God continue to bless our troops and America. You truly are our guardian ANGELS. |
